Of course, if you are a beginner it is better to play Limit Texas Holdem first, but if you are sure enough in your poker skills, don't hesitate to join the No Limit tables and win a share of some big prize pools.

You probably know that Texas Holdem is a very interesting card game, which could be learned for few hours, but remember that without using the correct strategy you can lose all your money.

Playing Texas Holdem at Party Poker you will certainly improve your play, because there are many expert poker players here. Don't think that you can't win a Party Poker game or tournament, because there are also many weak players at the tables. If you just want to enjoy the game and you don't want to win some real cash, you can play Texas Holdem poker without strategy. But if you want to feel the thrills of joy when you become a winner, you must learn some winning Texas Holdem strategies.

As you know, Texas Holdem is a high card game, which means that the player, holding two high pocket cards has the best chance to form the highest hand and win the pot. When you are in early position at a Party Poker table, play only if you hold a strong hand, because in early position you don't have much information about other players' hands. It doesn't mean that you can not win the pot when you play from early position - just wait for the right hand, and if you think it is better than your opponents' hands, play it aggressively. When you are in late position you will surely play more hands and you can win the pot with not so good cards. Remember that you must play your hand depending on your position at the table.

Another important thing when you play Texas Holdem at Party Poker is the table selection. If you play only at tables, full with expert Texas Holdem players, your chances to beat all of them are very small. It is true that playing at such tables you will master all the details of the game very fast, but if you are not so good you should play at tables with some bad players. Of course, when you become a professional, you can play at tables with advanced poker players only.

When you play Texas Holdem and all other variants of poker, you need to know how and when to bluff. You know that bluffing is pretending to hold the best hand, in your desire to win the pot. There is nothing bad to bluff your opponents - it is a part of the game, but you must always choose the right moments to do that. Don't bluff very often, because if the other players at the table catch you, your game is spoiled. That's why it is good to vary your play and no one will understand when you bluff.

In order to become a winner in a Texas Holdem game or tournament, you must learn to calculate your outs and poker odds. Without knowing how to calculate your odds, especially the pot odds, you will never become a professional Texas Holdem player. Pot odds is the ratio of the money in the current pot, compared to your next bet. When you know how to calculate your odds, you will be able to calculate your chances to win the pot. You will never make worthless bets and you will not lose your money for nothing.
